Founded in 1969 by David A. Stein, a long time Burger King franchisee, King Provision for 37 years was one of the largest Burger King foodservice distributors servicing 750 restaurants domestically and 38 countries internationally. In early 2006 the company sold its southeastern foodservice distribution business to another approved Burger King distributor.
Today King Provision operates a uniform fulfillment business, called King
Uniform, from a warehouse in Austell, Georgia. King Uniform is the primary uniform distributor for several national and regional retail chain operators.
The company's headquarters are located in Jacksonville, Florida.
